Working Together to Prevent Suicide
World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on September 10th each year to promote worldwide action to prevent suicides. It’s a growing problem and therefore the numbers tell a shocking story. Every 40 seconds someone takes their own life according to the World Health Organization (WHO). That’s about 800,000 people worldwide every year — although some estimates put that number closer to 1 million.
World Suicide Prevention Day gives organizations, government agencies, and individuals an opportunity to push awareness about suicide, mental illnesses associated related to suicide, as well as suicide prevention.
On this World Suicide Prevention Day, Enabling World, presents highly engaging & interactive sessions Live delivered through our Master Facilitators and Wellness Specialists. We invite you to leverage these programs and let your employees know that ‘Working Together to Prevent Suicide’.
