Overview

Transitioning back to work after parental leave is challenging, and women specifically have much bigger and different challenges. Managers and colleagues are crucial in supporting returning mothers’ re-transition into office. A manager can support the returning mother by being empathetic, working proactively & preparing women, self and the team; and by addressing the physical, emotional, social and logistical challenges faced by the returning mother. This session is designed to empower people managers with the skills, empathy, and practical strategies needed to support employees transitioning back to the workplace after maternity leave.
