2. OUR ROLE IN PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Depending on the engagement, Enabling World may process some Personal Data on the client’s instructions while separately determining the processing of information required for our own administration, billing, legal compliance, security, quality assurance and business relationship management.
The respective responsibilities may also be addressed in a proposal, statement of work, purchase order, master services agreement, data-processing terms or other written arrangement.

We will process Personal Data only for purposes connected with the reason for which it was collected, another compatible purpose, or another purpose permitted by applicable law.
Where consent is required, we will seek consent in an appropriate manner.
6. DISC AND OTHER ASSESSMENTS
Enabling World provides and supports behavioural and professional assessment solutions, including DISC-related assessments and profiles.
The privacy arrangement depends upon how the assessment is purchased and administered.
6.1 Assessments administered by Enabling World
Where Enabling World creates participant invitations, administers an assessment, accesses assessment information, receives reports or conducts a debrief, Enabling World may process the information necessary to perform those activities.
Reports and assessment information will be shared only with persons authorised under the relevant engagement, which may include:
- the individual participant;
- an authorised facilitator or coach;
- designated representatives of the client organisation; or
- another authorised recipient identified in the programme or assessment arrangement.
The exact report-sharing arrangement may vary by programme and should be communicated to participants where relevant.
6.2 Client-controlled Wiley EPIC or Catalyst accounts
Some clients maintain and control their own Wiley EPIC and/or Catalyst administrative environment.
Where Enabling World’s role is limited to selling, supplying, transferring or replenishing assessment credits for a client-controlled account, Enabling World does not, merely by supplying those credits:
- create participant assessment invitations;
- determine who completes the assessment;
- receive participant responses;
- access participant assessment reports;
- administer respondent accounts; or
- otherwise access participant assessment information held within that client-controlled environment.
In this situation, Enabling World ordinarily processes only the information required for the commercial transaction and account support, such as client contact details, account details, credit requirements, orders, billing and related communications.
The privacy practices applicable to information processed directly within Wiley’s platforms are also governed by the applicable Wiley notices and platform terms.
If the client subsequently asks Enabling World to administer assessments, provides Enabling World with assessment reports, grants Enabling World administrative access or engages Enabling World to conduct debriefing or analysis, Enabling World may process the relevant assessment information for those additional Services.
6.3 Client responsibilities
A client organisation instructing Enabling World to conduct assessments is responsible for:
- providing participant information lawfully;
- informing participants of the purpose of the assessment;
- identifying authorised recipients of reports where appropriate;
- using assessment information only for legitimate and agreed purposes;
- maintaining appropriate confidentiality around reports and profiles; and
- complying with its own obligations under applicable employment, privacy and other laws.
- Assessment reports and behavioural profiles should be interpreted in the context and for the purpose for which they were provided.
7. RECORDING OF TRAINING PROGRAMMES, WORKSHOPS AND WEBINARS
Recording is an important part of some Enabling World learning programmes. Because recordings can contain identifiable Personal Data and participant discussions, we aim to disclose recording arrangements clearly before or at the point of participation.
7.1 Training and learning programmes
Certain live training programmes, certification programmes, workshops and learning sessions may be recorded.
Where a programme is designated as a recorded programme, the recording may include the full session, including:
- facilitator presentations;
- participant video or audio;
- participant discussions;
- questions and responses;
- chat interactions;
- demonstrations;
- exercises; and
- other contributions made during the session.
Recordings may be uploaded to an Enabling World learning-management system or other controlled learning environment and may be made available to:
- participants in the current programme;
- learners who missed a session;
- future cohorts and future learners enrolled in the same or related learning programme;
- authorised faculty, trainers and facilitators; and
- authorised Enabling World personnel.
Accordingly, a participant contribution made during a recorded session may be visible or audible to future learners who were not present when the original session was conducted.
Where this model applies, Enabling World will provide notice before enrolment or participation and may require an affirmative acknowledgement or consent as part of registration.
Participants should not disclose confidential, highly sensitive or unnecessary personal information during a recorded session.
Where professional, workplace, coaching or client cases are discussed for learning purposes, participants should anonymise the individuals and organisations concerned unless disclosure is properly authorised.
If you do not wish to participate in a programme conducted on this recording basis, you should contact Enabling World before enrolling. Whether an alternative mode of participation is available will depend on the particular programme.
7.2 Internal quality and service improvement
Programme recordings may also be accessed on a restricted basis for legitimate internal purposes such as:
- quality assurance;
- faculty review;
- facilitator development;
- programme administration;
- instructional design;
- service improvement;
- investigation of programme or conduct concerns; and
- internal research and learning analysis.
Where practicable, information used for broader research or analysis will be aggregated or de-identified.
7.3 Public webinars and events
Recording arrangements for webinars and public events may vary.
Some webinars may not be recorded.
Other webinars may be expressly offered as recorded public webinars, in which case the recording may subsequently be made available through channels such as:
- Enabling World websites;
- learning platforms;
- video platforms;
- social-media channels;
- future webinars or learning resources; or
- other public or educational channels.
Where a webinar is intended to be recorded and made publicly available, this will be stated in the registration or participation notice and, where appropriate, participants will be asked to provide an express acknowledgement or consent.
Participants in such events should assume that questions, audio, video, chat contributions or other identifiable participation may form part of the published recording where this is stated in the event notice.
7.4 Promotional use
Participation in an ordinary training programme does not by itself give Enabling World an unrestricted right to use your image, voice, testimonial or identifiable contribution in advertising or promotional campaigns.
Where separate promotional or testimonial use requires consent, we will obtain appropriate permission.
8. DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA
We may disclose Personal Data where reasonably necessary to:
- client organisations and authorised client representatives;
- facilitators, coaches, trainers, assessors and consultants;

- LMS and e-learning providers;

- email and communication providers;
- payment processors and financial service providers;

- professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors;
- governmental, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial authorities where required; and
- parties involved in a merger, restructuring, acquisition or transfer of our business or assets.
Service providers are expected to process information only for authorised purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality, security and contractual controls.
We do not sell Personal Data merely for third parties to independently market their products or services to you.
INTERNATIONAL AND CROSS-BORDER PROCESSING
Some of the technology platforms and service providers used by Enabling World or by our assessment and learning partners may store or process information outside India.
This may include cloud, communication, assessment, videoconferencing, learning-management, analytics and technology providers.
Where Personal Data is transferred or processed internationally, we will take measures reasonably appropriate to the nature of the processing and comply with applicable restrictions on cross-border processing.
Third-party platforms may also process information under their own applicable privacy terms.
10. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small data files placed on or associated with your browser or device when you use a website.

Disabling certain cookies may affect the operation or availability of some website features.
Deleting cookies may remove previously saved preferences, and you may need to set your preferences again when you return to the website or use another browser or device.
11. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Where permitted by applicable law, Enabling World may send information about programmes, assessments, workshops, events, publications, products or other Services that may be relevant to you.
Where consent is required for such communications, we will seek it separately.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe facility provided in the communication or contact us to change your communication preferences.
Stopping promotional communications does not prevent us from sending essential communications relating to:
- an enquiry you made;
- a transaction;
- a programme in which you are participating;
- an assessment;
- an account;
- a contractual relationship; or
- another Service you requested.
11. DATA RETENTION
We retain Personal Data for no longer than is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to legal, contractual, accounting, dispute-resolution, security and legitimate operational requirements.
Retention periods may differ depending on the category of information.
For example:
- enquiry and relationship records may be retained while the relationship remains active and for an appropriate period thereafter;
- invoice, tax, contractual and accounting records may be retained for applicable statutory periods;
- learner and certification records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to verify participation, completion, certification or professional standing;
- assessment data administered by Enabling World may be retained according to the programme, client instructions, assessment-platform configuration and applicable obligations;
- security and access records may be retained for security, audit and legal purposes; and
- programme recordings intended for ongoing learning use may be retained while they continue to form part of the relevant learning library, programme or future-cohort resource, subject to periodic review and applicable legal requirements.
Where information is no longer required, we may delete, securely dispose of, aggregate or anonymise it.
12. SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
Enabling World uses reasonable technical, administrative and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the Services concerned.
These may include:
- role-based access restrictions;
- password and account controls;
- secure technology platforms;
- contractual confidentiality requirements;
- restrictions on access to assessment and programme information;
- employee and service-provider confidentiality obligations;
- reasonable security controls for storage and transmission; and
- incident-management procedures.
No technology or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
If a Personal Data breach occurs, Enabling World will investigate and take appropriate containment, remediation and notification steps in accordance with applicable law and the nature of the incident.
13. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on applicable law and the nature of our processing, you may have rights relating to your Personal Data, including rights to:
- obtain information about Personal Data being processed;
- seek correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data;
- seek erasure where applicable;
- withdraw consent where processing depends upon consent;
- raise a grievance;
- exercise applicable nomination rights; and
- exercise any other right available under applicable data-protection law.
These rights apply to the extent they are in force and applicable from time to time and may be subject to lawful exceptions, retention obligations and verification requirements.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully undertaken before withdrawal.
Where processing is necessary to provide a Service and you withdraw consent required for that processing, we may be unable to continue the relevant Service.
Where Enabling World is processing Personal Data solely on the instructions of a client organisation, we may refer or coordinate your request with that organisation where appropriate.
14. CHILDREN AND MINORS
Enabling World’s professional learning, assessment and corporate Services are generally intended for adults and working professionals.
We do not knowingly seek to collect Personal Data from children for ordinary professional Services.
Where a particular programme legitimately involves a minor, participation and processing will be subject to the additional permissions, notices and safeguards required by applicable law.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been provided to us without appropriate authority, please contact us.
15. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
Our website or Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms and technology services.
These may include assessment platforms, payment gateways, learning-management systems, videoconferencing platforms, social-media services and other third-party technologies.
A third party’s processing of information through its own service may be governed by its own privacy policy and terms.
Enabling World does not control every independent processing activity undertaken by such third parties. You should review their applicable privacy information where relevant.
